the Classic PQube has sold in the following markets:

200 Classic PQubes solved an oil industry challenge in South America. Huge rectifiers are used to create DC galvanizing current for pipes that transport crude oil. PQubes monitor harmonic currents generated by the rectifiers. When the current harmonics change, a rectifier failure is in the near future.

=> 해설 : 배관 부식방지용으로 설치된 대용량 DC 정류기의 SCR에서부터 나오는 고조파 성분으로 인해서 콘덴서의 수명이 열화되면 제어설비에 에러가 발생하게 되고, 어느 순간 예고없이 콘덴서가 파손되는 사고로 인해서 공장 설비가 다운되기 때문에, 평상시 DC 정류기의 전류 고조파의 트렌드를 감시하면 어느 순간 전류고조파의 양이 변화하면 조만간 설비에 이상이 올 것이라 예측이 되어 예방정비를 할 수 있도록 조치할 수 있도록 하고 있음.

In Belgium, CN Rood just sold 50 PQubes to the national railways company. These PQubes monitor railway switching operations, based on the current drawn by the switch motors. This PQube's current signatures allow the railways infrastructure department to observe early signs of failures, and even to anticipate repairs and trigger preventive maintenance. The 5 current channels of the Classic PQube, applied to 5 switch motors, makes the solution really cost effective.
