IGR Leakage Current Analyzer is invented as the world first, and also can measure Insulation Resistance (M目) without power cut-off. This patented instrument can analyze leakage current, and display Igr(resistive), Igc(capacitive), and Io(vector sum), Ground Insulation Resistance, and the phase angle between voltage and current.
Conventional Leakage Instrument can measure and display only Io (vector sum). Following is vector diagram for leakage measurement.
Normal Leakage Instrument can measure only the Io (Vector Sum), but patented Igr LEAKAGE ANALYZER can measure and display Igc (Capacitive Leakage Current) and Igr (Resistive Leakage Current) separately.
General Purpose
The general purpose of this IGR LEAKAGE ANALYZER is to measure the IGC (Capacitive Leakage Current) and IGR (Resistive Leakage Current) separately, and to calculate the insulation resistance of power plant*s I&C instruments as using this tool on the live power line as of not instruments powered off. So the system engineer can estimate the immunity of instruments from lightening surge or impulse voltage and insulation status, on the condition of live powering on.
