Recently, the Classic PQube has sold in the following markets:

• 200 Classic PQubes solved an oil industry challenge in South America. Huge rectifiers are used to create DC galvanizing current for pipes that transport crude oil. PQubes monitor harmonic currents generated by the rectifiers. When the current harmonics change, a rectifier failure is in the near future.

• In Belgium, CN Rood just sold 50 PQubes to the national railways company. These PQubes monitor railway switching operations, based on the current drawn by the switch motors. This PQube's current signatures allow the railways infrastructure department to observe early signs of failures, and even to anticipate repairs and trigger preventive maintenance. The 5 current channels of the Classic PQube, applied to 5 switch motors, makes the solution really cost effective.

• In Central America, the Dominican Republic operates 9 power plants with a total installed capacity of 1100MW. PQubes report real-time frequency and power from all their generation plants. The Classic PQube's reliability is key sales feature in this application. The PQube's Modbus-over-Ethernet function is used on a 24/7 basis.

• We have already delivered hundreds of PQube3's to the first users in Japan and the US government. Field installations of pre-production PQube 3's began back in March 2014, and have been operating continuously since.

• Based on our field tests, we're extending the operating temperature range - at PSL, we've operated a population of PQube 3's for more than a month at +70C and -20C (even with restricted airflow!) with zero failures. We already have certification at +50C and are busy now on UL certification at +60C.

• This month, the PQube 3 will achieve Class A Certification for both Edition2 and Edition3 of the IEC 61000-4-30. The PQube 3 is the very first Power Quality monitor to be fully Certified for Edition 3... when it becomes available, that will be a great sales feature for you.

• The PQube 3 now samples at 512 samples per cycle on voltages, currents and its 4 analog channels. An independent system inside the PQube 3 samples impulses up to 6kV at 1,000,000 samples per second on 4 channels, and another independent system precisely implements 2kHz-150kHz measurements. We're already seeing interesting real-world data in this frequency range, especially around photovoltaic solar power systems. And we're finalizing the integration of the new features and PQube 3 user experience with Web pages, thumb drives, FTP, email, Modbus, SNMP, government-level security, and more.
